WHAT WILL THE KIDS RUN LOOK LIKE?
The kids run will happen before the 5K, approximately at 8:45am. The distance will be a 1 mile out and back on the Capitol Lake path. Parents are welcome and encouraged to run with their children. Awards will go to top 3 finishers and each child will get to make their own medal following the kids race.
WHEN WILL THE 5K START?
We will push to start the 5K at 9:00 immediately following the kids run. We will do our best to start at 9:00am.
IS THERE A MAP TO THE RACE COARSE?

CAN I RUN/WALK WITH MY DOG/PET?
We like pets, however pets are not allowed on the race coarse.
CAN I RUN WITH A STROLLER?
You may definitely run with a stroller. We recommend that strollers start toward the back of the pack for safety to the runners and children.
CAN WE JUST COME FOR THE KIDS RUN?
Absolutely! There is no charge to the kids run and we hope to have a large kids run showing. We also encourage families to stick around for post race family fun.
WHAT WILL THE POST RACE FAMILY FUN LOOK LIKE?
The race will be fun for the whole family. We will have post race food, bounce house, games, kids medal creation, face painting to name a few. Stick around for some post race fun! Following the kids run & 5K run/walk.
WHO IS SPONSORING THE FOR THE CITY 5K?
516 Missions and CityReach International along with Sound City Church and Olympia City Church have partnered together to pull off a 5K that will help our city. We want to impact our city and this year we are partnering with Homeless Backpacks. Along, with these main sponsors we have other organizations that have worked to help this race be a success for our city.
WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
There is tons of parking along Deschutes Pkwy & Capitol Lake with a short walk to Marathon Park. There will be limited parking at Marathon Park.
WHEN CAN I PICK UP MY RACE PACKET?
Race packet pick-up will start at 7:45am. Race day registration will also start at 7:45am.
